The Sierra Norte de Puebla – known simply as the Sierra Norte by locals – is a mountain range that makes up the southern end of the Sierra Madre Oriental in central Mexico.

The Sierra Norte de Puebla is approximately 100 km long, with a width ranging up to 50 km. It covers the northern part of the state of Puebla and also extends into the state of Hidalgo. To the east it borders on the Gulf Coastal Plain in the state of Veracruz, and to the west and south with the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt. The Sierra Norte ranges in heights from between 1500 to 2500 metres above sea level.
In the broader sense, Sierra Norte de Puebla is used as a socio-cultural designator to indicate this mountainous region in Puebla.
The indigenous people of the region include the Nahua, Otomi, Tepehua, and Totonac peoples.
